Gogol gathered the venom
and had to release it
after he burned the second part
of "Dead Souls" he was growing
bored as in a Russian train station
and began to weep bitterly
the goitre with venom had dried up;
the dryness inside him no longer
allowed him to formulate a single sentence.
And yet he was not far from the truth.
