with his deformed face typical
of a slack-jawed idiot, of a devil  
you wouldn't even say he's human.
A well-aimed bullet would have saved
millions of lives. But Providence
protected the monster and granted him days,
while the Jews glorified him
like a saint. He innovated terror,
polished it, perfected it, deepened it.
