You love, liquidate the gentle night
of phosphorous and sodium, lie down
on the ground, you reward your fantasy
in the breath of beast, lacerate with your
teeth the petrified truths of my defunct
mind ‒ I’m the warmth with cheek
of a babe, the hopeless warmth lie
next to me like a loaf of bread
at the mouth and break me in love’s
thoughts keep the knowledge
like a sum of passings, the hardly
exhaled aromas.
